katharina berndt rasmussen
researcher in practical philosophy
I’m a researcher in practical philosophy. My main areas of competence are political, feminist, and moral philosophy. My areas of specialisation revolve around the topics of discrimination, sexism, racism, implicit bias, social norms, and democracy. I value and enjoy doing “public outreach” activities, spreading philosophical tools and research results to a broader public. My teaching experience, at Stockholm University and Uppsala University, covers undergraduate courses in critical thinking, political philosophy, feminist philosophy, ethical theory, applied ethics, as well as supervision of undergraduate student essays.
I am employed as an Associate Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, Stockholm University, and as a researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies.
I’m also an editor for Tidskrift för politisk filosofi, a Swedish academic publication in political philosophy.
