katharina berndt rasmussen

ph.d.
researcher in practical philosophy

I’m a researcher in practical philosophy. My main research interests are within moral, political and feminist philosophy. I’m working on topics such as discrimination, sexism, racism, implicit bias, democracy, and climate ethics. I also value and enjoy doing “public outreach” activities, spreading philosophical tools and research results to a broader public.

I am currently employed as researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies.

I’m an editor for Tidskrift för politisk filosofi, a Swedish academic publication in political philosophy, and for Studies on Climate Ethics and Future Generations, a working paper series for the research project Climate Ethics and Future Generations.

My teaching experience, at Stockholm University and Uppsala University, covers undergraduate courses in critical thinking, ethical theory, applied ethics, political philosophy, feminist philosophy, as well as supervision of undergraduate student essays.
